Ningbo Zhenjia Electric Appliances Co., Ltd. manufactures US Extension Cord assemblies and related power connection products for North American and global B2B projects. Our range covers NEMA 5-15, 5-20, L5-30, L14-30, TT-30 and 14-30 configurations, with c(UL)us-certified construction, custom lengths, gauges, jackets and molded or assembled ends.
Our US extension cord line is built around standard North American blade and locking interfaces. We produce cords for portable power distribution, generator connection, RV and camper shore power, temporary jobsite supply, and equipment hookup. Each assembly is configured to the working voltage, current, conductor size, jacket material and end configuration required by the application.
As a China-based US Extension Cord manufacturer, we support OEM and ODM programs. Our engineering team works from customer drawings, samples or performance targets, and our in-house granulation and processing capability gives us control over insulation and jacket compounds used in the finished cord.
The table below maps our main US extension cord families to typical applications and the configuration variables we confirm before production.
| Product Family | Typical Application | Key Configuration Variables |
|---|---|---|
| ZJ-001 / ZJ-002 | General-purpose indoor and outdoor extension | Gauge, length, jacket, outlet count, molded ends |
| ZJ-2XZ / ZJ-2ZB | Multi-outlet distribution and jobsite power | Outlet quantity, cord length, strain relief, lighted ends |
| NEMA L5-30P/L5-30R | Generator locking connection, 30A distribution | Locking blade type, conductor gauge, jacket rating |
| NEMA L14-30P/L14-30R | Generator to transfer switch or inlet box | 4-wire configuration, 10/3 or 8/3 gauge, length |
| TT-30P to L5-30R | RV trailer and camper power adaptation | Adapter direction, cord organizer, molded or assembled |
| L5-30P to 3× 5-20R | 30A to 15A splitter for outdoor equipment | Outlet count, lighted end, cord length, gauge |
Conductor sizing follows the current and voltage drop requirements of the application. We work with stranded copper conductors, thermoplastic or rubber jackets, and molded or assembled plug bodies depending on the mechanical and environmental demands. For outdoor and generator use, jacket flexibility at low temperature and resistance to abrasion and moisture are primary considerations.
Before quoting, we confirm the electrical and mechanical parameters that determine the finished assembly. These include rated voltage and current, conductor gauge and count, overall length, jacket type and color, end configurations, strain relief style, and any marking or packaging requirements.
Our production operates under an ISO 9001 quality management system, and our power cord and adapter products hold c(UL)us certification. We maintain an in-house testing lab with inspection equipment used to verify conductor resistance, insulation integrity, polarity, continuity and dimensional conformity. Certificates of compliance and authorization-to-mark documentation are available for the relevant product families.
For projects requiring ETL or CE alignment, we review the applicable standard with the customer and confirm the testing and documentation scope during the quotation stage.
Our R&D team develops and produces cords according to customer drawings or samples. Customization covers length, gauge, jacket color and material, plug type, outlet configuration, strain relief, overmolding, cord organizers, lighted ends and private-label marking. We also produce related assemblies such as US Power Cord and Generator Power Cords & Accessories for customers who need a coordinated power connection program.
US extension cords are typically plug-and-use products, but correct mating, strain relief and routing affect service life. We design molded ends and boots to protect the conductor-to-terminal transition, and we select jacket compounds that resist cracking at flex points. Replacement and spare-part support is available for assembled cord programs, and we can supply product manuals and installation guidance with the shipment.
To prepare an accurate proposal, we need the following project inputs. Missing items are confirmed during engineering review.
We pack cords with protective wrapping and cartons suited to the product size and shipping method. Carton marking, barcode labels, master carton configuration and palletization are confirmed per order. Our export experience covers North America, Europe and other destinations, and our overseas manufacturing base in Cambodia provides an additional production location for programs that require it.
We manufacture NEMA 5-15, 5-20, L5-30, L14-30, TT-30 and 14-30 based cords, including generator locking cords, RV adapters, multi-outlet distribution cords and custom assemblies. Each is built to the specified gauge, length, jacket and end configuration.
Our power cord and adapter products hold c(UL)us certification, and we maintain certificates of compliance and authorization-to-mark documentation. Certification scope is confirmed per product family during quotation.
